Dear Parents,

Family Heritage Night is an amazing celebration of Solana Highland’s diverse community. We learn about each other’s customs and traditions. We delve into what makes each one of us unique and special. We get to teach each other about the places that make us who we are.

I want to thank all of our families for your participation in making Family Heritage Night a huge success. I would also like to thank the Riddle Family Foundation for their generous contribution that supported the purchase of some special items, like the passports, that added so much to the evening. I especially want to thank Usha Harish, our chairperson, for all her efforts.

We all care deeply about our children and our school. The experiences that our children have on a daily basis are enhanced by the different backgrounds of our families. We offer all our children a broader more global outlook of the world because of these differences. Our diversity is one of our great strengths and celebrating it is joyous indeed.
